Zune 6 degrees of separation

This latest msn game starts off pretty fun then, for me, rapidly descended into a googlefest. Once again I hope this post will encourage people who know more about movies than me to help with the google work.

After finishing the first couple I skipped to the Star Trek game at the end. The difficulty is that after Majel Barrett it wasn't clear what the clue was referring to and being Star Trek based pretty much everyone is linked by appearing in Star Trek together. This hardly narrows down my search :(

The Playstation Network

I just received an email telling me that the Terms of Service and User Agreement and Privacy Policy for the Playstation Network have been updated.

Unfortunately, I don't know anyone who knows what these changes are, mostly since no-one really reads the ToS anyway. What is the point of keeping users informed of changes to something they are completely ignorant towards? Will anyone know if they have actually changed anything and what they are now allowed to do to us?

If there are any legal experts/people who actually read the small print out there, do let me know if this now means they can empty my bank account.

Isn't Mario Brilliant?

Just played the new Super Mario game for the Wii. Forgot how much I enjoyed Super Mario World all those years ago on the SNES. The joy of skipping from World 1 to World 5 to 8 and completing the game in a couple of hours.

The added bonus being replaying over and over to find those star coins to unlock World 9, just a pity you can't take Yoshi outside a level yet.

Google font size

I've noticed recently that the font size on the google homepage has become suddenly larger. This was a little disconcerting. It felt much the same way as adapting to a full size desktop monitor after working on a laptop for years.

Guess I don't have to worry so much about my sight failing me as I get older.

Online riddles

In my younger days, I used to spend many happy hours solving online riddles. I speak mainly of the riddles of the Qwizard type. I first got hooked playing Qwyzzle then moved on to the five Qwizards. Despite the excitement over the last year or so that there was a long-promised Qwyzzle 2 on the way I have recently discovered that both Qwizard and the Qwyzzle sites are dead.

Does anyone know of any other similar riddles or if there is any work being done to replace them?

I fear I may have to create my own riddle. Unfortunately, I would then lose the fun of solving such a new riddle.

Cheating at games

Why would anyone over the age of 10 try to cheat at a game? There can surely only be two 'acceptable' reasons.

1. There is a large sum of money at stake. In which case the cheat is a pathetic person and shall surely run into trouble with such life choices.

2. You are trying to beat a 10 year old at a game at which they are far superior to you. This scenario can actually be rather amusing and teaches the child a valuable life lesson, namely to be careful of some rather unscrupulous sorts out there - see 1 above.

It has come to my attention that someone on the internet has posted links to the videos from the Charming Holly Valance game. How sad. The whole point in trying to find the answers to the questions is that sense of satisfaction you get when you earn the right to see the next clip. If all you want is to see Holly Valance videos there are plenty of other (better) videos to be easily found. For example why not check out this site.
